Designed with the character of red oak timber and the everyday practicality of steel, it gives straight staircases and hallway runs a rich, classic finish without the upkeep of real wood.
The red oak finish is applied using a heat transfer process, creating a realistic wood grain surface on a strong steel core. As a result, the handrail has a consistent look along the full run, while staying practical, easy to clean and simple to maintain.
Unlike real timber, Stoneleigh Red Oak does not need sanding, staining or varnishing. It brings a deeper wood effect into your home, while still giving you the strength and durability of a metal handrail.
As part of the heat transfer process, there may be a very fine join line on the underside of each pole. This is a normal feature of the finish and should be positioned facing downwards during installation, where it will sit out of sight once fitted.
