Bring soft texture and natural detail to your staircase with Pattingham Grey Wood. Designed with the look of natural timber and the everyday practicality of steel, it helps create a continuous handrail run across staircases with two winder turns, without the upkeep of real wood.

The grey wood effect finish is created using a vinyl wrap process, bonding a decorative surface to a strong steel core. This gives the handrail subtle grain, gentle tonal variation and a lighter, easier to maintain design that is simple to clean and made for everyday use.

Unlike a standard painted finish, Pattingham Grey Wood has texture and tonal variation that gives the handrail a softer, more natural look. It brings the character of wood into the space, but with less maintenance than real timber. There is no sanding, staining or sealing needed, making it a practical choice for modern homes, neutral schemes and interiors with natural textures.

A discreet join line will be present on the underside of each pole as part of the wrapping process. This is a normal feature of the finish and should be positioned facing downwards during installation, where it will sit out of sight once fitted.

Designed for staircases with two winder turns, this system helps the handrail follow each change in direction while keeping the line neat and continuous. Suitable for floor to floor heights up to 2800mm, it can be fitted to double winder staircases turning left or right.
