Stoneleigh Red Oak Half Turn Handrail System | Up to 8.4 Metres
Stoneleigh Red Oak is a good fit for half turn staircases where you want a classic oak look with a little more warmth and character. The reddish-brown oak effect suits traditional hallways, warmer wood details and homes where a plain painted handrail might feel too flat.
The finish is created using a heat transfer process, giving each pole a realistic wood grain look with the strength of a steel handrail. It gives you the appearance of red oak timber, without the sanding, staining or varnishing that real wood can need.
This system is designed for staircases that turn back on themselves with a central landing. With four adjustable elbows included, the handrail can follow the half turn and continue along both stair sections, helping the full run feel secure, consistent and properly connected.
As part of the heat transfer process, there may be a very fine join line on the underside of each pole. This is a normal feature of the finish and should be positioned facing downwards during installation, where it will sit out of sight once fitted.
