Packwood Light Oak Half Turn Handrail System | Up to 8.4 Metres
Packwood Light Oak works well on a half turn staircase where you want the handrail to feel light, natural and not too dominant. The pale oak effect helps soften the staircase, making it a good choice for neutral hallways, modern homes and spaces with lighter walls or natural finishes.
The finish is applied using a heat transfer process, creating a realistic wood grain look across each pole. It gives you the appearance of light oak with the strength of a steel handrail, without the sanding, staining or varnishing that real timber can need over time.
This system is designed for staircases that turn back on themselves with a central landing. With four adjustable elbows included, the handrail can follow the change in direction across both stair runs and around the landing, helping the full system feel neat, continuous and easy to follow.
As part of the heat transfer process, there may be a very fine join line on the underside of each pole. This is a normal feature of the finish and should be positioned facing downwards during installation, where it will sit out of sight once fitted.
