Packwood Light Oak Double Winder Handrail System | Up to 7.2 Metres
Packwood Light Oak helps keep a double winder staircase feeling lighter as it moves through two turning sections. The pale oak effect gives the handrail a softer wood look style, so it works particularly well in hallways that already use light walls, natural flooring or a more neutral interior scheme.
The finish is created using a heat transfer process, giving each pole a realistic wood grain look with the strength of a steel handrail. It gives you the appearance of light oak, without the sanding, staining or varnishing that real timber can need.
This system is designed for staircases with two winder turns and straight sections. With two adjustable elbows included, the handrail can follow both changes in direction, helping you create a continuous run that feels neat from the lower flight through to the upper section.
As part of the heat transfer process, there may be a very fine join line on the underside of each pole. This is a normal feature of the finish and should be positioned facing downwards during installation, where it will sit out of sight once fitted.
